Filling the Void
We created Alma & Pé to fill a forgotten space: foot care. They support us, connect us to the world, but they rarely receive the attention they deserve. More than comfort, we believe in presence, elegance and care rituals. We go beyond aesthetics, offering experience, sensoriality and attention where there was previously no attention.
Where It All Begins
VX Alma & Pé is born from the earth. Not only as matter, but as living memory. From the arid soil of Pernambuco, where walking barefoot was not a choice, but a condition, came the awareness of the foot as a base, as a foundation, as a symbol of silent strength.
From the Backlands to Vocation
There, between the dust of the backlands and the affection of the simple houses, with the smell of the countryside, of grandmothers, of unspoken care, the seed of something greater was planted. It grew alongside the founder, who as a girl felt the absence of footwear as a lack of structure. And, as an adult, she became a podiatrist. Not by chance. But by vocation: to take care of the part of the body that supports all the others.
A Ritual of Presence
VX Alma & Pé was not created just to moisturize or perfume. It exists to remind us. To reconnect the human being to his or her physical and emotional base. To transform the touch of the cream into a ritual of presence. To rescue the time that was lost between rushes and distractions, and return it to the body, through touch, aroma, and attention.
